There are 2 versions of professional micro-needling tools, the glider and the stamp. You may have seen numerous videos of procedures where the tools glide across the face. Those as you guessed are gliders. A stamp tool, like the INNOPen, will consist of numerous overlapping up and down applications on the skin.
We use the stamp method. Why?
- When gliding you are not puncturing the skin at a sufficient depth to achieve ideal results. The stamp method allows your esthetician to ensure there is a sufficient micro-channel created.
- The stamp allows for local customization across your skin. The depth of the needles can be altered to more aggressively target wrinkles, scaring and other trouble areas.
